Hi, I'm João 👋

I'm glad this reached you.

Intencional Studio is a project-led creative practice for real estate and hospitality — we build brands, spaces and experiences, between Amsterdam and Portugal.

I'm from Porto 💙, based in Amsterdam 🇳🇱 and spend quite some time in Portugal, where most of our projects are, or travelling around for learning, work, and fun of course.

I'm looking for my first close collaborator for this studio, so the stakes are high 😊

For years I worked with large project teams, managing international clients in social media and leading technology and innovation for a global non-profit. Now I’m building a lean practice with a growing pool of specialist freelancers — and I need someone with sound judgement, taste and ownership beside me.

I'm looking for a few things AI doesn't provide:

  1. Judgment: deciding what to do and why.
  2. Creativity: originating, not generating.
  3. Taste: editorial and aesthetic selection.
  4. Social and emotional intelligence.
  5. Adaptability and learning.

I hope that's you! And that you love digital communication, getting stories and messages across.

Social storytelling should feel like instinct to you by now: you know what makes a post land, and how to reshape one piece of content for Instagram, LinkedIn or TikTok so it feels native to each.

You'll be working across brands that don't all speak the same way, and shouldn't: real estate development, architecture and interiors, hospitality. That variety is a big part of what makes this interesting.
